How is an endodontics done?

1. The first step consists of obtaining one complete anesthesia of the tooth. The treatment must be correct and painless, once applied, and the patient does not experience annoyances of any type. Once verified the complete anesthesia we will proceed to enter the pulp’s camera that is like the vestibule of a house, and observe the interior of the root.

2. With intruments, called files, especially designed, we will eliminate the content of the radicular, and cleaning the walls so that there is nothing left of the adhered rest of the same. A powerful disinfectant will help us doing this work to cleaning the radicular. The accidental consumption of this liquid can be very dangerous, and to avoid this, we always use a rubber dike, to protect the patient and at the same time it helps us to see better and work faster.

3. Concluded the cleaning and preparation of the interior of the root, (conduit) we will dry the same with ends of absorbent paper specially designed for this.

4. Finally, we will fill the conduit with some tips of gutta-percha (special resin) and a sealing cement to avoid empty spaces where the bacteria would be able to produce subsequent infections.
